-Bus tour of city
-Check into hotel
-Visit Piluska Park, site of the famous 1979 speech, and stroll around Old Town to see the Royal Castle, St. John’s Cathedral and other religious sites.

DAY 3:
-(Tuesday) October 12, 2010
-After Breakfast depart for Krakow, stopping at Our Lady of Czestochowa, the Black Madonna, Poland’s national shrine.
-Check into hotel in Krakow.
-City tour including Wawel Hill and the Royal Castle and Wawel Cathedral, St. Florin Basilica and other sites associated with John Paul while he was a priest and then Archbishop of Krakow.
- Mass TBA.
-Dinner and free time in the evening.
-Overnight in Krakow.
DAY 4:
-(Wednesday) October 13, 2010
-In the morning, we will visit the Shrine of Kalwaria Zebrzydowska is a Calvary sanctuary in a vast complex of 42 churches and chapels, including one which contains the miraculous picture of Our Lady of Kalwaria, and a basilica and Francisan monastery.
-In the afternoon, we will go to the Shrine of the Divine Mercy where the famous painting and the body of St. Faustina are found in the basilica.

DAY 5:
-(Thursday) October 14, 2010
-Visit Auschwitz (morning tour of concentration camps and cell of Saint Maximillian Kolbe) and the town of Wadowice to see the house where John Paul II was born and the nearby church where he was baptized and attended Mass during his youth.
-Lunch.
-Mass TBA.
-Free evening to visit sites in Old Town Krakow.
DAY 6:
-(Friday) October 15, 2010
-Depart for Rome arriving late morning.
-City tour en route to hotel.
-Mass TBA.
-Walking tours Rome (historic central Rome including St. Agnes, Bernini’s Fountain and Piazza Navona, Pantheon and Santa Maria sopra Minerva) with English speaking guide and multilingual audio.
- Return to the hotel.
-Dinner.
-Overnight in Rome.
DAY 7:
-(Saturday) October 16, 2010
-After breakfast transfer from the hotel to St. Peter Square.
-Visit major Basilicas (St. Peter’s, St. Mary Major and St. John Lateran)
-Free for lunch.
-After lunch transfer to the Catacombs (S. Sebastiano, if open) visit with English speaking tour guide and multilingual audio.
-Mass TBA.
-Return to the hotel.
-Dinner.
-Overnight in Rome.
DAY 8:
-(Sunday) October 17, 2010
-Transfer to St. Peter’s Square for the canonization of Blessed Brother Andre.
-Tour Vatican Museums and Sistine with multilingual audio and English speaking guide
-One round on board of the Open Bus for a city tour.
-Return to the hotel.
-Farewell Dinner at local restaurant.
-Overnight in Rome.
DAY 9:
-(Monday) October 18, 2010
-After breakfast transfer to the airport for return flight to Washington-Dulles, arriving early afternoon.
