
TRIP SUMMARY:
This is a unique pilgrimage, taking us back to the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire to experience the splendor of imperial and contemporary Vienna, the magnificent abbeys and monasteries of lower Austria and the charm of Budapest, the Empire’s second capital. In addition, we will visit places associated with famous Catholic saints and churchmen of the church including St. Leopold, St. Coloman, Cardinal Joseph Mindszenty of Hungary and Blessed Mark d’Aviano.

ABBEYS AND MONASTERIES OF LOWER AUSTRIA
The highlight of our pilgrimage will be visits to several of Austria's many fine monasteries. All are located within an hour's drive of Vienna. Monasteries we will visit:
-Stift Klosterneuburg
-Heiligenkreuz
-Melk
-Gottweig
VIENNA
In the capital of Austria, we will experience the baroque splendor of imperial and contemporary Vienna.
